Tax avoidance and tax evasion in developing countries

The Workshop on tax avoidance and tax evasion in developing countries will enable the Rapporteur and Shadow Rapporteurs for DEVE's INI report on 'Tax avoidance and tax evasion as challenges for governance, social protection and development in developing countries' to discuss potential themes of the report with NGOs, representatives from international organisations, and the European Commission. The report will enable the European Parliament to express its view on this important issue in time for the Third International Conference on Financing for Development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, between 13 and 16 July 2015.
