On Tuesday afternoon, 27 February, the Committee on Development and the Agriculture Committee held a meeting to discuss the impacts of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) on developing countries, and their food and agriculture systems in particular.
Among the speakers were renowned experts, such as Olivier De Schutter, an African milk farmer as well as the EU Commissioner for Agriculture Phil Hogan. DEVE members analysed how to improve Policy Coherence for Development when reforming the CAP.
