A bizottságok szakértői meghallgatásokat szervezhetnek, ha ez szükséges egy adott témával kapcsolatos munkájukhoz. Két vagy több bizottság tarthat közös meghallgatásokat is. A legtöbb bizottság rendszeresen szervez meghallgatásokat, mivel ezek lehetővé teszik a szakértők meghallgatását és eszmecsere folytatását a legfontosabb kérdésekről. With the digital revolution and in particular the ever growing online shopping sector, we notice a shift in advertising, moving from the traditional concept of a "consumer" to the "user" of websites, online platforms and social media. Users are often subject to targeted advertising that can influence their choice and constitute profiling. On 12 July IMCO held a public hearing on the implementation of the Late Payment Directive. The first panel examined business-to-business (B2B) transactions, featuring speakers representing business associations. The second panel focused on public authorities-to-businesses transactions (P2B), with speakers concentrating on problems reported on the ground and on measures that could be employed by public administrations to tackle this issue.
