On 9 April 2024 from 14.30 to 16.00, the CONT and LIBE committees welcomed Laura Codruța Kövesi, the European Chief Prosecutor, to exchange on the latest developments in the activity of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) and the annual report 2023 published at the beginning of March. The annual report gives an overview of the activities of EPPO during the last year, with a particular focus on serious cross-border VAT fraud and on the challenge posed by organised crime.

On 20 March 2024, CONT Members held an exchange of views with Members of the Parliament of Ukraine.

On 20 March 2024, the first part of the study "Lessons learned from the implementation of crisis response tools inside the EU" was presented at CONT Committee meeting.

ECA review 02/2024 "The Commission’s rule of law reporting" and special report 03/2024 "The rule of law in the EU" were presented on 20 March 2024, respectively by ECA Members Laima Andrikienė and Annemie Turtelboom.
