The 27th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) EU-Chile took place in Brussels, in the afternoon of 4 December and in the morning of 5 December 2023.

- bilateral cooperation in the framework of the investment portfolio of the Global Gateway EU-LAC;
- the constitutional referendum of 17 December 2023 in Chile;
- organised crime and terrorism;
- enhanced cooperation between the European Parliament and the Chilean Congress;
- the new Advanced Framework Agreement EU-Chile.

D-CL Mission to Santiago from 20 - 21 September 2021
On 20-21 September 2021, a delegation of D-CL Members visited Chile. This mission took place at a crucial time of the negotiations on the modernisation of the EU-Chile Association Agreement and the drafting of a new Constitution, and only weeks before the presidential and legislative elections of 21 November 2021.
Members held high-level meetings with public authorities, including President Sebastián Piñera, the President of the Senate and the President and Vice-President of the Constitutional Convention, the Minister of the Environment, the Minister of Energy and Mining, and the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs. Members also met with experts on constitutional affairs and with representatives of human rights, women and indigenous peoples' organisations.
