When are the next European Elections?

The next European elections will take place on Friday 24 May 2019.

The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government is responsible for the legislation dealing with the registration of electors and the conduct of elections and referendums in Ireland.

Information for voters who are blind and vision impaired

The National Council for the Blind of Ireland have developed tactile templates for the upcoming elections which will be available in all polling stations.  More details on their website at the link below.

The European Parliament Office has leaflets about the European election available in braille which we can supply on request. 

We also have leaflets about the elections in accessible format for people people with an intellectual disability, certified by Inclusion Ireland and available on request.
