It's election day!

It's finally election day! If you are voting in the capital chances are you will have seen the 'I Voted' stickers designed to reward those who have fulfilled their civic duty while prompting others to do the same.

Voting is well underway across the country marking the end of our This Time I'm Voting campaign. If you have not yet cast your ballot there is still some time with polling stations not closing until 10pm. Ireland along with Czechia are among the first member states to go to the polls just one day after the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Results will be officially announced on Sunday after the last Europeans have their voices heard which will be at 11pm CET in Italy. You can follow the results on our designated European Elections Results website. We will update with live exit polls, projections and results from 6pm CET on Sunday.
