Reports - as rapporteur

A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

Opinions - as rapporteur

Committees may draft an opinion to a report of the responsible committee covering the elements linked to their committee remit. Este regulamento sobre plataformas online será outra peça no quebra-cabeças de uma Europa digital que deve funcionar para todos. As plataformas online, em muitos casos, multiplicaram a escolha e levaram a preços mais atraentes para os consumidores. Além disso, permitem muitas vezes aos utilizadores de pequenas empresas venderem facilmente os seus bens e serviços em toda a Europa, trazendo benefícios tangíveis para as nossas PME. Este Regulamento é um grande passo na direção correta. Vai começar a ser aplicado diretamente nos Estados-Membros já no próximo ano, pelo que as nossas empresas e consumidores começarão a ver muito em breve os benefícios de uma economia online mais justa.

Admissible motions are referred to the committee responsible, which shall decide whether to follow up the motion for resolution and, if so, which procedure is to be followed.
