Reports - as rapporteur

A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

Opinions - as rapporteur

Committees may draft an opinion to a report of the responsible committee covering the elements linked to their committee remit. Rapporteurs of such opinions are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs of the opinion. Rule 56, Rule 57, Annex VI

El marco financiero plurianual es un instrumento de cohesión y solidaridad esencial para que la UE pueda hacer frente a los desafíos de la migración, el cambio climático, la globalización y la competitividad.
Queremos aumentar el presupuesto para investigación e innovación, aumentar el nivel de financiación para los programas de infraestructura de transporte, duplicar la financiación para las pymes, triplicar el presupuesto actual para el Programa Erasmus + y mantener la financiación de la política agrícola común. El próximo presupuesto a largo plazo de la UE debe garantizar la capacidad y la responsabilidad de la Unión para satisfacer las necesidades de los ciudadanos europeos.
Por todo ello, mi voto es favorable a la adopción del presente informe.

Empowering competition authorities and ensuring the proper functioning of the internal market (A8-0057/2018 - Andreas Schwab) ES

La Directiva tiene como objetivo atribuir a las autoridades nacionales de competencia cuando aplican las normas de competencia de la UE, en particular, en lo que respecta a su independencia y recursos, facultades para investigar, imponer multas efectivas y disuasorias en relación a los programas de clemencia.
Los Estados miembros deben garantizar que las autoridades nacionales cuenten con programas de clemencia que les permitan conceder a las empresas inmunidad de multas por revelar su participación en cárteles.
Por ello, mi voto es favorable a la adopción de la Directiva.

European Electronic Communications Code (A8-0318/2017 - Pilar del Castillo Vera) ES

El mercado de los servicios de comunicaciones electrónicas ha cambiado radicalmente. La regulación anterior tenía como destinatario, casi en exclusiva, al sector de las telecomunicaciones, pero los elevados niveles de conectividad que demandan hoy todos los sectores económicos y sociales hacen que el impacto de este nuevo marco regulatorio sea mucho mayor. El Código Europeo de las Comunicaciones Electrónicas va a ser un instrumento crucial para que la Unión Europea se convierta en una verdadera sociedad del gigabit.
Además de mejorar la protección de los consumidores, el nuevo marco regulatorio será decisivo para el despliegue de redes de muy alta capacidad y de infraestructuras de banda ancha 5G.
Por todo ello, mi voto es favorable a la adopción del Código Europeo de las Comunicaciones Electrónicas.
