Auf seiner Plenartagung im Januar wird das Parlament eine Aussprache zu drei Initiativberichten über die Gemeinsame Fischereipolitik (GFP) führen und darüber abstimmen, womit zehn Jahre nach der letzten Reform der Fischereipolitik Bilanz gezogen und auf die Bewertung der Politik durch die Kommission reagiert wird. Diese Berichte werden dazu beitragen, die Diskussion über die Zukunft der GFP zu gestalten.
