El 8 de noviembre de 2017, la Comisión Europea adoptó el paquete de movilidad limpia, que incluye propuestas legislativas para contribuir a acelerar la transición hacia vehículos de emisiones bajas y nulas, junto con una comunicación sobre un plan de acción con soluciones de inversión para el despliegue a escala transeuropea de una infraestructura para los combustibles alternativos. China's stance on global climate change action has evolved over time, as its domestic climate policy has gained ground against an unabated focus on economic growth rates and disregard for negative externalities. Its intended nationally determined contribution (INDC), submitted to the 21st UN Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), is a – still hesitant – step in support of the goal of limiting global warming to 2°C above 1990 levels.
