Systematically connecting the various levels of government in the multi-level system of EU governance is to make the European Union more integrated and stronger in its diversity. Linking the Levels unit (LINK) of the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) is inviting representatives of European regional executives to a meeting in order to present our work and exchange views on the Commission’s Annual Work Programme 2020 (CWP).

Election-Watch.EU is an impartial Austrian ONG of election observers and experts with international election observation and electoral assistance experience. It conducted an electoral assessment mission on the last European elections on May 2019 on the basis of a memorandum of understanding established with the EP.

His research took him, among other places, to the Philippines, Mexico City, Russia, Ukraine and Serbia. 'This is not Propaganda' explores how we might 'reimagine our politics and ourselves' in a time where truth is under threat. In this latest EPRS Book Talk, Peter Pomerantsev - who has published in the Financial Times, London Review of Books, The New Yorker, WSJ, Foreign Policy, Newsweek and Le Monde diplomatique, and also worked as a consultant for the EU and World Bank - will discuss his new book with Naja Bentzen, Policy Analyst in the Members' Research Service of EPRS.

A legtöbb bizottság rendszeresen szervez meghallgatásokat, mivel ezek lehetővé teszik a szakértők meghallgatását, és eszmecsere folytatását a legfontosabb kérdésekről. A munkaértekezleteket a tematikus főosztályok szervezik, a költségvetési rendelettel összhangban. Nem feltétlenül nyilvánosak, bizottsági ülések alatt is sor kerülhet rájuk.

A munkaértekezletek során a képviselők kérdéseket tehetnek fel és eszmecserét folytathatnak a parlamenti munkához vagy az aktuális kérdésekhez kapcsolódó területek szakértőivel.
