Lo strumento per le riforme e la crescita per i Balcani occidentali è stato concepito per sostenere le riforme interne nei paesi dei Balcani occidentali e fornisce alcuni dei vantaggi risultanti dall'adesione all'UE anche prima che questa avvenga. Lo strumento fornirà fino a sei miliardi di EUR nel periodo 2024-2027. Il Parlamento dovrebbe votare il testo concordato, risultante da negoziati interistituzionali, durante la tornata di aprile II 2024.
