Il 28 aprile 2023 la Commissione ha presentato una proposta di aggiornamento del quadro dell'UE relativo ai detergenti e ai tensioattivi. Durante la tornata di febbraio II il Parlamento europeo voterà sulla relazione approvata il 14 febbraio dalla commissione per l'ambiente, la sanità pubblica e la sicurezza alimentare (ENVI).
