Iš 1994 m. Tarybos reglamentu (EB) Nr. 1164/94 įsteigto Sanglaudos fondo finansuojami aplinkos apsaugos ir transeuropinių tinklų projektai. Nuo 2007 m. parama taip pat gali būti skiriama su tvariu vystymusi susijusiems projektams, pavyzdžiui, energijos vartojimo efektyvumo ir atsinaujinančiųjų išteklių energijos projektams.

Transeuropinių tinklų finansavimas

Transeuropinių tinklų kūrimą iš dalies finansuoja Europos Sąjunga, iš dalies – valstybės narės. ES finansinė parama yra tarsi katalizatorius, o valstybės narės turi suteikti didžiąją lėšų dalį. Transeuropiniams tinklams finansuoti taip pat galima papildomai panaudoti struktūrinių fondų teikiamą paramą, EIB ar privačiojo sektoriaus lėšas. 2013 m. sukūrus Europos infrastruktūros tinklų priemonę (EITP) buvo pradėta esminė transeuropinių tinklų reforma.

This paper provides an overview of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) as a budgetary instrument. A preliminary analysis of the quantitative impact of the first year and a half of activity is complemented by an outline of the corollary policies that can determine the success of EFSI.
