I detta faktablad beskrivs vilken behörighet som tillkommer Europeiska unionens domstol. Denna domstol består av två instanser – domstolen och tribunalen – som erbjuder olika möjligheter till överklagande i enlighet med artikel 19 i fördraget om Europeiska unionen (EU-fördraget), artiklarna 251–281 i fördraget om Europeiska unionens funktionssätt (EUF-fördraget), artikel 136 i Euratomfördraget och protokoll nr 3 om stadgan för Europeiska unionens domstol, vilket fogats till fördragen.

Europeiska unionens domstol är en av EU:s sju institutioner. Den består av två instanser – domstolen och tribunalen – och ansvarar för EU:s jurisdiktion. Dessa instanser säkerställer att EU:s primär- och sekundärrätt tolkas och tillämpas korrekt inom EU. De prövar lagenligheten i EU-institutionernas akter och beslutar om huruvida medlemsstaterna har fullgjort sina primär- och sekundärrättsliga skyldigheter. Domstolen tolkar dessutom unionsrätten på begäran av nationella domstolar.

This study will analyse the role and competences assigned to the Court of Justice of the European Union by the founding Treaties, the Statute and the Rules of Procedure. Particular attention will be paid to the functions carried out by the Court in resolving disputes between institutions, between the Member States and between the Members States and the institutions in a multi-level governance system. In 2015, China remained by far the major target of antidumping (AD) investigations initiated by the European Commission. With a total of 53 AD measures in force against imports from China in that year, the country ranked ahead of Indonesia (10), Malaysia (6), Russia (6), India (5) and Taiwan (5).
