Sakharov Prize 2020: Presentation of candidates

The European Parliament awards the Sakharov Prize every year to honour exceptional individuals and organisations defending human rights and fundamental freedoms. The official presentation of the 2020 nominees will take place on Monday 28 September at 16:45 during an extraordinary meeting of the committees on foreign affairs and development and the human rights subcommittee.
