WHO Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus - global response to the pandemic

ENVI has invited Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), for an exchange of views with Members on the fight against COVID-19 and the global response to it. Increased coordination and cooperation at global level are crucial to better prevent and tackle pandemics.
Members debated on the WHO actions to prevent the spread, and reduce the contagion and mortality of COVID-19, as well as on the work to develop treatment and vaccines against COVID-19. The exchange took place on Thursday, 25 June.
