Το εργαστήρια οργανώνονται από τα θεματικά τμήματα και δίνουν στους βουλευτές τη δυνατότητα να υποβάλλουν ερωτήσεις στους εμπειρογνώμονες και να προβαίνουν σε ανταλλαγές απόψεων μαζί τους για ζητήματα που σχετίζονται με το κοινοβουλευτικό έργο ή για θέματα της τρέχουσας επικαιρότητας. Δεν είναι υποχρεωτικά δημόσια, μπορεί όμως να πραγματοποιηθούν στη διάρκεια συνεδριάσεων των επιτροπών.

The workshop “Employment and social affairs - Achievements and challenges ahead” was organised at the request of the EMPL Committee to serve as preparation for the hearing of the Commissioner-designate and the discussion on the next Commission work programme. This workshop was in two parts. In the first part, two international organisations, the ILO and the OECD, presented their policy strategies for the future of work.
