Exchange of views with Olaf Scholz, ECOFIN Chair and Minister of Finance of Germany

Vice-Chancellor Olaf Scholz, German Minister of Finance, appeared in the ECON Committee on 2 September 2020 (14:15 – 15:45) to present the priorities of the German EU Council Presidency. His presentation was followed by an exchange of views with ECON Members. Topics discussed included the COVID-crisis and related measures to support the EU economy, and legislative priorities of the German Council Presidency, amongst others.
