Ceadaítear do choiste cruinniú le saineolaithe a eagrú sa chás ina meastar é sin a bheith sár-riachtanach dá chuid oibre maidir le hábhar ar leith. Is féidir le dhá choiste nó níos mó éisteachtaí a thionól go comhpháirteach lena chéile. Eagraíonn formhór na gcoistí éisteachtaí go tráthrialta ionas go bhféadfaidh siad tuairimí a fháil ó shaineolaithe agus go bhféadfaidh siad pléití a bheith acu ar phríomh-shaincheisteanna. The LIBE Committee, in association with FEMM Committee, organised a public hearing on ‘The Implementation of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme’ (CERV), on 14 February 2024.
On 7 December 2023, the FEMM committee will hold a hearing on "Gender Mainstreaming and EU climate policy".
