Implications of 'Brexit' for the EU agri-food sector and the CAP
The workshop on 9 November 2017 was devoted to the highly topical issue of the impact of Brexit on the EU’s agri-food sector and on the CAP. It delved into 3 specific aspects of Brexit: (1) its impact on the CAP budget (2) its impact on EU-UK agricultural trade flows and (3) possible transitional arrangements in agriculture in light of the future EU-UK relationship.

Agricultural challenges post 2020 in the EU: preparing the next CAP reform: workshop
AGRI held a workshop on 8 November on the agricultural challenges post-2020 in the EU and the preparation of the next CAP reform. The debate on the future of the CAP after 2020 has already started with position papers presented by some Member States (The Netherlands, France), or with the Cork 2.0 conference on the future of rural development policy in September 2016.
