During the DEVE Committee's meeting, MEP Mónica Silvana González (S&D) presented the draft report "The impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations in developing countries".

Other points included:

  • A vote on the General budget of the European Union for the financial year 2021;
  • A vote on the Adoption of draft position of the Committee on Development following the Strategic Dialogue on the revision of the DCI geographic programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean region and special measures related to the Venezuela crisis;
  • An exchange of views on the ECA Opinion No 7/2020 accompanying the Commission's report on the implementation of the European Fund for Sustainable Development; and a discussion on the draft opinion on Corporate due diligence and corporate accountability.
