Senior MEPs express their support for the European Commission's efforts to address the unprecedented crisis caused by the spread of the coronavirus/COVID-19 and ask for international cooperation.

On 24 March, the Chairs of European Parliament Committees on Foreign Affairs, Development and Budget, wrote a letter to Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union, Jutta Urpilainen, Commissioner for International Partnerships, Olivér Várhelyi, Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Janez Lenarčič, Commissioner for Crisis Management and Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Budget and Administration to express support for the Commission's efforts to combat the COVID-19 crisis.
