On 9 April, the Committee had a structured dialogue with Mr Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Internal Market, and Mr Maroš Šefčovič, Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight. This exchange focused on taking stock of the main achievements during the present legislative term and identifying the challenges ahead.

On 20 March, the Committee held an exchange of views with Mr Timo Pesonen, Director-General for Defence Industry and Space (DEFIS) of the European Commission, on the new European Defence Industrial Strategy and the proposal for a Regulation establishing a European Defence Industry Programme.
