The European Platform on Combating Homelessness ("EPOCH") was established by the European Commission in March 2021, as part of the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan. Launched in June 2021 through the Lisbon Declaration, the Platform aims to eradicate homelessness by 2030 by promoting person-centered approaches, exchanges of best practices, and evidence-based strategies.

This Interparliamentary Committee Meeting will gather national Parliamentarians, Members from EMPL, AFCO, PETI and other committees, Council and Commission representatives, as well as representatives from main relevant NGOs. President Metsola will do welcoming words via video message.

At the initiative of the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Evelyn Regner, and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, the European Parliament will hold its third European Gender Equality Week during the last week of October 2022.

Conference right to disconnect

This conference will take place on 15 March 2022 from 9.00 - 17.30 and will bring together Members of the European Parliament, social partners, national governments, the Commission and European agencies. The debate will raise issues like challenges and opportunities of telework, working conditions and health and safety at the work place, digital divide and disadvantaged workers etc.
