Just Transition Fund

On 12 May, the EP rapporteur for the Just Transition Fund, Manolis Kefalogiannis, presented his draft report on the Commission's legislative proposal. The Just Transition Fund is a very important new piece of legislation, which will allow the European Union to support its regions when preparing for economic, social and environmental change in relation to the energy shift. REGI Members can now table the amendments, for which the deadline was set to 20 May 2020 at 12:00.
