Home affairs and data protection issues in Covid-19 times: debates. UK Prüm: vote

In the LIBE Committee meeting on 7 May, which took place via visioconference, Members held an exchange of views with Commissioner Johansson on Home Affairs issues in Covid-19 times. They had as well exchange views with the EDPS and the EDPB on the use of personal data in the fight against Covid-19.
Furthermore, the draft opinion on Recommendations on the negotiations for a new partnership with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was presented by the Rapporteur, Mr Loránt Vincze (PPE). Members also voted remotely on the draft report on the launch of automated data exchange with regard to dactyloscopic data in the United Kingdom.
