In its meeting of 25 June, INTA will welcome DG TRADE Director General Sabine Weyand for a discussion on level-playing field and EU tools against distortions in international trade and investments (including safeguards and screening of foreign direct investments). Commission will present also new possible tools to fill the gaps in the EU toolbox, in particular following last week's publication of the White Paper on foreign subsidies in the Single Market. The meeting will also feature the consideration of the amendments tabled to the draft report on the Enforcement Regulation, as well as a presentation by the International Trade Center and the City of Ghent on the "EU Cities for Fair and Ethical Trade Award".
