As part of the scrutiny role of the European Parliament, ENVI Members will consider and vote on two draft Motions for Resolutions objecting to draft measures presented by the Commission.

ENVI Members will have the opportunity to question the representative of the Commission on the proposal adopted on 15 March 2024, in response to farmers' protests.

On April 18, ENVI Members will vote on whether to provide their consent to a Council decision authorizing the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the agreement on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction (the BBJN Agreement).
