Presentation of 2020 Enlargement package and Investment plan for Western Balkans

On 6 October, the Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi presented to the AFET members the 2020 Enlargement Package and the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.
Following the Commission assessment of the EU-related reforms in each enlargement country, AFET rapporteurs will draft country reports, outlining Parliament's conclusions and recommendations. The funding of the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans will be shaped by the yet-to-be-agreed Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA III).
