INTA invites the Chief Trade Enforcement Officer, discusses tariff deal with US

At its meeting of 24 September, INTA will welcome the first DG Trade Chief Trade Enforcement Officer (CTEO), who was appointed at last this summer. The committee will hold a first discussion on the recently agreed "mini-deal" with the US on erga-omnes tariff reductions. Members will also hear a presentation of a study on Trade and Biodiversity that was commissioned by the committee. (Available here.) Votes will take place on a trade measures for Western Balkans countries, a new strategy for European SMEs and an oral question on the extraterritorial effects of third countries' sanctions.
