COVID-19 pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the President of the European Parliament and its political leaders have modified Parliament's calendar of activities. The aim is to enable Parliament to exercise its core functions, while complying with the duty of care for its Members and staff and protecting public health.

As a result, most meetings and all missions of Parliament's delegations have been cancelled or postponed.

When the delegations are able to resume normal activities, the calendar on this page will provide details.

Constituent meeting on 26 September 2019 in Brussels

During the D-RU constituent meeting on 26 September 2019, the members of the Delegation's Bureau were elected.

Chair: Mr Ryszard CZARNECKI (ECR, Poland)

1st Vice-Chair: Ms Elsi KATAINEN (Renew, Finland)

2nd Vice-Chair: Mr Peter POLLÁK (EPP, Slovakia)

It was also the occasion, for the Members, to exchange views on the linguistic profile of the Delegation.
