"In my capacity as Chair of the EP Delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, I strongly believe that Albania is making progress towards European accession and implementing the EU reform agenda.

I believe the current government is on the right path in transforming the justice system in the country. Justice reform has generated tangible results in the fight against corruption and organised crime.

Unfortunately, the opposition's latest actions risk derailing the pace of such reforms, and are sending the wrong message to European partners. [...]"
