The European Parliament LUX FILM PRIZE casts an annual spotlight on films that go to the heart of European public debate. Films selected for the competition focus on some of the main social and political issues of the day and, as such, contribute to building a stronger European identity.

Applications are now open for the 2020 European Citizen's Prize.  Citizens, groups of citizens, associations or organisations can apply or nominate another citizen or organisation for the prize.  The European Parliament awards this prize every year to projects and initiatives that facilitate cross-border cooperation or promote mutual understanding within the EU.  Deadline: 30 June 2020 (23:59, Brussels time)
