Webinar: BREXIT and the island of Ireland, 26 June 2020

Join us for a webinar on 26 June, from 12:00pm-1:30 pm when key political figures will take stock on what will have been a significant few days for the Brexit process (including a new European Parliament resolution, European Council Summit and EU-UK high-level meeting) and give their thoughts on the challenges outstanding for the implementation of the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland.

Few places are affected more directly by Brexit than the island of Ireland and safeguarding the peace process is an integral part of the legally binding Withdrawal Agreement. Compliance with the Agreement is being closely monitored by the European Parliament, which also has to give its consent to any draft trade deal between EU and UK negotiators, and by the UK Parliament.
