I voted against the objection as the delegated act aims to close a loophole, to ensure transparency for consumers, a level playing field in the industry respecting the same rules, and a proper enforcement of EU rules on food safety.

I voted against this discharge as the Commission continue to make significant errors as highlighted by the ECA. This is at an unacceptable level.
I was disappointed with the resolution’s poor wording on UNRWA as raised during my speech.

The ongoing waste of taxpayers’ money in sending the EP to Strasbourg every month should be a more central issue in these reports.
