Parliament's revamped handbook on the ordinary legislative procedure, which covers all the key steps inside Parliament and includes updated guidance on inter-institutional legislative negotiations and Parliament's Rules of Procedure, has been published in 23 EU languages (available below), on behalf of the European Parliament Vice-Presidents responsible for conciliation, Ms Mairead McGUINNESS, Ms Katarina BARLEY and Ms Nicola BEER and the Chair of the Conference of Committee Chairs, Mr Antonio TAJANI.
The Handbook is both a useful introductory document and a handy reference manual. It provides general introductions and detailed background information and takes into account important developments since the previous version of November 2017.
