Revising the EU's financial rules

The financial rules (FR) applicable to the general budget of the European Union (EU) – Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and Council of 25 October 2012 – set out the operating principles and basic rules governing the EU budget. The proposal to amend the FR follows the adoption of new rules on public procurement and the award of concession contracts.
