The Finnish Economy

The purpose of this briefing is to give a general view of the state of the Finnish economy and its perspectives over the medium term. The presentation is based on the criteria set out in the Stability and Growth Pact and on the third update of the Finnish Stability Programme presented in November 2001. Subsequent changes in the economic outlook since then have been taken into account to the extent new data and forecasts were available.
