In-Depth Analysis
15-03-2011
In awarding contracts the Community institutions are subject to the rules set out in Directive 2004/18/EC of 31 March 2004. The provisions of the directive are reproduced and adapted in Community Financial Regulations Nos 1605/2002 and 2342/2002 of 25 June 2002. These provisions ensure that all economic operators in the EU have nondiscriminatory access to European contracts.
