La Conferencia sobre el Futuro de Europa es un ejercicio de abajo arriba que permite a los ciudadanos europeos expresar su opinión sobre las futuras políticas y el funcionamiento de la Unión. Utiliza herramientas como la Plataforma Digital y los Paneles de Ciudadanos para permitirles debatir temas que les conciernen. La infografía del EPRS expone las estructuras de la conferencia, su método de trabajo y los temas que se debatirán.

Durante el período parcial de sesiones de noviembre I, el Parlamento votará una Resolución destinada a reforzar la democracia, la libertad de los medios de comunicación y el pluralismo en la Unión Europea. Esta Resolución pide una acción inmediata, tanto legislativa como no legislativa, para abordar la cuestión de las demandas estratégicas contra la participación pública.
