Le rapport, tel qu’il a été adopté en plénière, constituera la position du Parlement pour les négociations avec le Conseil, qui doit encore convenir d’une orientation générale.

En juillet, le Parlement se prononcera sur le rapport adopté par sa commission de l’environnement, de la santé publique et de la sécurité alimentaire (ENVI) sur une proposition de la Commission visant à actualiser les règles de l’Union relatives à la prévention et à la réduction de la pollution d’origine industrielle.
