DG IPOL Policy Department for Economic, Scientific and Quality of Life Policies published the following documents to assist the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA) in its parliamentary work.

Circular economy: Four proposals on waste

Wide differences exist between Member States in the treatment of municipal waste (landfilling, incinerating, recycling and composting). As part of a shift towards a circular economy, in 2015 the European Commission put forward four legislative proposals intended to improve waste management in the European Union. Management of the EU external fishing fleet
