I pesci sono organismi senzienti e consapevoli, in grado di provare dolore, sofferenza e altre emozioni. Il trasporto di pesci vivi è di per sé stressante nel migliore dei casi e comporta rischi notevoli di gravi problemi in termini di benessere.
