Executive summary We have been asked to answer the following three questions: 1. What is the demarcation line between the CFR and the future horizontal instrument on the review of the consumer acquis ? 2. Which provisions of the contract law should be specifically regulated in the consumer law? Should the lex specialis rule be applied (lex specialis derogat legi generali) ? 3. Do national provisions of contract law constitute barriers to trade in the Internal Market ?
