De Conferentie over de toekomst van Europa is een initiatief dat vanuit de basis vertrekt en Europese burgers in staat stelt hun mening te geven over het beleid en de werking van de Unie in de toekomst. Tools zoals het digitale platform en burgerpanels maken discussies mogelijk over onderwerpen die zij belangrijk vinden. During the November I plenary session, Parliament is due to vote a resolution aimed at strengthening democracy, media freedom and pluralism in the European Union.
