W niniejszej ekspertyzie poddano analizie kwestię stosowania przepisów UE w sprawie pomocy państwa w odniesieniu do inwestycji infrastrukturalnych w sektorze portów morskich, a także dokonano porównania przykładów niedawno udzielonej pomocy państwa na rzecz północnych i południowych portów morskich UE na tle różnych rodzajów organizacji pracy portów. Ustalenia zawarte w niniejszej ekspertyzie mogą być wykorzystywane w ramach przyszłych debat w komisji TRAN na temat unijnej polityki portowej.
