The objective is to facilitate comparison with the competences granted to the Constitutional Courts of the Member States. This study was written by Prof Dr Vincenzo Salvatore of the University of Insubria, Varese (Italy), at the request of the Comparative Law Library Unit of the Directorate-General for Parliamentary Research Services (DG EPRS) of the General Secretariat of the European Parliament.
